In many this is quite an old-fashioned film - but in a good way :-)

What a pleasant surprise to see a good story, told well, with excellent performances all round.

There are laughs and tears (definitely a several hankie film)

Would be more than happy to go back and see this again.

The only odd thing was that we saw this immediately after Moonlight the same day, so it was slightly disconcerting at first to find a couple of the main actors from that turning up here in very different roles.

This was a wonderful feel good movie and like others thought Jim Parsons was the weak link even though I love him in Big Bang Theory.

Finally saw this on TV! Very good film though some scenes seem to have been added on to make a point with a sledgehammer. I don't mind artistic licence to get a story across but maybe you have to spell things out very clearly for a Hollywood audience, who knows.

Coloured engineers good, coloured bathrooms bad!

About time too! Glad you enjoyed it. Such a brilliant film, saw it twice, when it was released! And again, on TV!
