I saw this last week and really enjoyed it, thanks again to Doris for the tickets.
I was thinking of Hell or High Water as I watched it before finding out later that it was the same writer. It has that same mix of a solid genre movie that also explores something else in the background, but that never gets in the way of the main story.
I thought there were a couple of clunky bits of dialogue especially between Jeremy Renner and his ex, but overall a good thriller that also shines a light on some important issues 8/10

Excellent, cleverly woven thriller, a slow burner but gripping. Based on true events. Good script, beautiful scenery in a hostile cold climate and excellent acting by Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.
Screen 7 of Holloway Odeon is now so dated. The cinema felt a little cold too - so l felt like I was part of the cold wilderness in the film!
9/10

Really cool film with a powerful message. Renner and Olsen performed exceptionally well and I particularly admire the sniper shots towards the end of the film.
Yes this was a beautifully shot thriller with slow build up to a tense climax. Strong performances from all the cast made this a must see film especially as based on true events. Some shocking statistics at the end of the film. Recommended 8.5/10
