Re: Book Club
Was a bit disappointed with this film. Such an amazing cast and yet I found most of them a bit cringeworthy. I did find it interesting to have Don Johnson in it considering his daughter is in 50 shades. I felt like it never really got going although I did laugh a few times. Shame it was so predictable 7.5/10

Re: Book Club
I enjoyed the movie. Had a fair amount of laughs. Thought it was good for a lazy night out.

Re: Book Club
I hadn't seen trailers about the film and had hopes that this would be a film with laughs and show women over a certain age being able to get on with life, without being 'needy' of men...... Come on Baty, have a bit of sense, this is an American film...... Have to admit I did laugh a few times but for me I cringed more.

think I'm getting screen play fatigue

Re: Book Club
I found the film disappointing with a somewhat predictable plot considering the impressive cast.
Re: Book Club
Thoroughly enjoyed book club but maybe that's because I could relate to it being a woman over a certain age Candice Bergen & Diane keaton had me laughing throughout
