Re: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
Tbf I don’t like ABBA but went because someone else couldn’t go in a group and regret going, one of the worst films I’ve ever seen, can’t think of a single positive thing about the film at all, tbf most people I know who even liked the first didn’t like this one, had a few walkout in screening I was in.Beate wrote:Oh what is wrong with you? How was the church scene one of the worst scenes ever filmed? The only singing which isn't great is from the guys, all the girls sing just fine. The singing is much better than the original.tonethestone wrote:Horrific in every sense. Church scene one of the worst ever scenes filmed. Acting poor, singing awful. Truly a mess of a film. 0/5

Yeah her part was Way too small, but her voice sounds great in Fernando. Strange voice, tut tut! As Benny says she's made the song her own, it's her song now. I'll take his opinion over yours lol.Beate wrote:But Cher was totally shoehorned in. I like Fernando but her strange voice's wrong for it. She could have been entirely left out without harming the film in the slightest.

I've seen Cher in concert and her voice is different now. So much stronger. In fact I'd hazard a guess that along with her face and body, her voice has had some "help". I found it quite distracting tbh.Agent-S wrote:Yeah her part was Way too small, but her voice sounds great in Fernando. Strange voice, tut tut! Re: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
I thought it lacked energy compared to the first film. Story was naturally slower and less dynamic. I also thought the younger cast, while brilliant, lacked the vocal energy of the older cast, who I missed not hearing more of.
Having said that everyone performed with much enthusiasm and were generally brilliant.
I did really enjoy it.

Re: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
Just had my 4th viewing today as a friend had not been able to go when the usual group went. I loved it even more than the first 3 times! A great viewing for a Sunday afternoon.
ps I cannot think of any film I have gone to the cinema to see 4 times . . . .so this is definitely a record for me!
