Ha! She says "It's only a Sharpie", but in the trailer she says "It's only a marker"!

Good general viewing film, nothing particularly memorable. The prospective parents I thought were over-acting rather frequently; the best performance was the teenage girl adoptee. Film full of humour and recounts well the anguish of parents who adopt.

Really liked it, well acted and casted and Mark Wahlberg, who co-produced the film, was very good. I'm sure an industry professional would now doubt pick a hole or two in the processes involved but trying to get such an important story across in just 2 hours then corners will undoubtedly have to be cut. I feel they managed to do it and in such a humorous, sad and heart warming way is a real credit to all involved.

Better than expected, not a film i would watch again. Wahlberg is good, but the adopted girl was the best in this. Mix of funny & sad altho it felt a little too long.

2.5/5.

Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark

Expectations were fairly low and we were very surprised! The comedy and emotional aspects kept us gripped throughout. Highly recommend 8/10

Really enjoyed Instant family. Yes, a lot of American cheesiness, but heartwarming and as based on a true story it was a testament to the Foster parents how they stuck with it and from going from no kids to three, and all the issues that they faced, it fills you with admiration for anyone that takes fostering on. Loved the end where you saw the real families. 8/10

This Movie was better than I expected, but my expectations were not very high to begin with. The oldest child was the best thing about the movie.
