I would never have pa*d to see this, but better than what I thought as the movie progressed.
Some very funny lines.

Saw this yesterday and it was surprisingly engaging and in parts hilarious. A true story first made into a documentary and later, this film. Shows ordinary folk with interesting background, characters and emotions.

Unique and entertaining, funny and heartwarming.

I am not interested in wrestling, but after I saw the trailer with the Rock, when Stephen Merchant, the writer and director of the film, talked about it on Graham Norton, and the scene was so hilarious, made me really look forward to it.

I was not disappointed. My friend and I giggled all the way through. Based on the real life experiences of Paige, played by Florence Pugh, brilliantly. An incredible underdog story. Great to see the real life footage during the credits, and what has happened to them.

Stephen Merchant has a cameo in it and he is always so funny, and I thought Nick Frost as Paige's father is hilarious too.

I also love the Rock!

I actually quite liked this movie, which really surprised me as I am not a wresting fan. It was nice to see the real family (movie was based on a true story) shown during the credits.

Really good feel good film. Didn't realise based on true story and directed by Stephen Merchant until later on. He and the Rock have put together a fun film for a city not often featured in films.

Lovely film. Stephen Merchant has done well with the writing and directing. Florence Pugh captivating as usual. I enjoyed it despite having no interest in wrestling.

I went to a see it first screening of this film thinking that I wouldn't enjoy it and was more going because my partner wanted to see it. But I was quite surprised it was a lot better than I expected it to be I ended up enjoying it.
