I watched this yesterday with some reluctance having read comments on here . . . I definitely went in with lowered expectations. . . and found it an OK watch but definitely not the comedy it is presented to be. It's a fairly interesting look at behind the scenes of a hit TV show focussing on a few characters. Would I watch it again? . . . probably not. Would I recommend it . . . ok with lowered expectations on a Sunday or rainy afternoon.

I watched some of the Mindy Project. She talks too fast like shes trying to prove shes superbrainy. I hated people like that at med school - jabbering fast to prove you are more intelligent than the ill patient you are talking to .....is such an intelligent thing to do. But the shows not bad actually, that aside.

She's done some extremely good work on The Office both as a writer and as the fast-talking, gossipy Kelly Kapoor. Check out the Diwali episode specifically to see just how funny she can be.
I never managed to get into The Mindy Project, as amusing as it was.
