Just Mercy

Gripping death row/courtroom/black injustice drama. Really tense and engrossing. You are routing for justice throughout, and can feel the frustration and tension to get justice, regardless of race or income. Excellently told and performed by Michael B. Jordon (also one of the producers), Brie Larson and Jamie Foxx.

Based on a true story, and it is unbelievable how innocent black men were put on death row before they are proved guilty.

Stay for the credits to see the real life persons, and their stories, eg. 30 years on death row before being released. Incredible.

And no Oscar nominations either. Says it all.

One of the most powerful, humbling and moving films i have ever seen such strong performances from the main cast and one that will make you want to scream at the injustice of what went on. I really don't understand why it did not get any oscar nominations i would give it 9/10.

As a lover of true movie I had high hopes for this film, and I was NOT disappointed!

A fabulous cast told a heart-breaking story, which kept me engrossed throughout.

One minute I was against a character, them my mind changed the next. It was a compelling watch and I still can’t stop thinking about it.

Excellent how during the final credits you saw where each character is today.

Definitely worthy of awards!

This is a great film and is based on true life story in America. I rarely cry at a film but this one made me cry! It's even more shocking when you realise how recent these events happened . . . and definitely worse when you watch the credits at then and see what happened to the real people. I would say this is a must see flim.
