Les Miserables (2020)

#1 Post by raj101 » Sat Sep 05, 2020 9:06 pm

I saw Les MIserables 2020. Nothing to do with the Hugo novel apart from a few underlying themes, but a very tense ride... worth seeing.

4 out of 5.

this is priced a £5 at kingston odeon but full price at neighbouring Wimbledon odeon( ). £5 for new movie is a bargain, go to Kingston!

There were people in our cinema walking out of New Mutants cos it was so crap.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I saw this too, and thought the same!

Extremely tense, unpredictable and volatile, but also actually extremely sad and disturbing. Definitely worth seeing if you get the chance. Inspired by the 2005 Paris riots.
