In the Heights

Watched this at the Printworks in Manchester on Wednesday. I was hoping to see some familiar fmuk faces but didn't. I'm assuming they watched it at an earlier preview.

I've not been out to the cinema for 2 years I don't think. I even ate out as an excuse.

I really enjoyed this film. I thought the singing and dancing would get on my nerves but I thought it was uplifting. Some heavy stories about immigrants not getting ahead. I could empathise as this is still prevalent.

I'd recommend 9/10.

really good, though first half was better.

these free lottery vouchers work at the BFI Imax london for no additional cost (other odeons charge a fee for IMAX).

Very enjoyable, just a tad too long.
