Batman

How come nobody is putting up reviews? This was good in a grimdark way. but also overlong, like an extended cut getting released at the cinema. In particular the last 20 minutes felt just tagged on poorly.

The movie sits somewhere just after Batman Begins, its very reminiscent of the Year 1 comic and perhaps the Arkham Batman games.

Also it doesnt really benefit from a huge IMAX screen like the Nolan movies do, the moood is very personal and claustrophobic.

4 out of 5.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

(I want to preface this post by saying I'm not a DC fan, I know nothing of the comics, and my knowledge of the character is limited to the Nolan films and the cartoons of my childhood)

While I enjoyed watching it, I thought the movie was 1h too long. There were a few slow parts that could have easily been edited as they brought nothing much to the story. Would have loved to see this directing style with Affleck's Batman, but honestly Pattinson totally sold me on his performance!
