Yes. I've seen it. I loved it - 9/10 from me. :D

And how busy was it at the Metro Centre??? How many free screenings have there been at this location?

Not bad although certainly not an Oscar winning performance IMHO.

OH enjoyed it more than me and it did allow me to get back into the good books after last weeks Jamesons screening of Moon which was rated as the worst evening for years by my disgruntled partner :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: Not even the free bar was a redeeming feature.

Hadn't appreciated that Blind Side was based on a true story so something to Google instead of working tomorrow ;)

as someone said on page 1 if ur not american or into american football you prob wont have heard of michael oher but i was pleasantly suprised.
it was a proper feelgood film and my wife was happy she went to see it.

I wonder if the "premiere" is still on or it's just going to be a normal screening.

I watched this last night at Greenwich, I really enjoyed it, although it made me want to cry in a few places, probably because its based on a true story. 9/10.

I saw this at Birmingham on the 22nd. Wasn't quite sure what to expect at first after all the hype about Sandra Bullock's performance but I did enjoy it. Felt that maybe it wasn't an oscar performance but thats just my opinion. Not that interested in American football really but enjoyed the fact it is based on a true story.

The professional critics aren't keen on this, so I'm glad I saw it first. Most people here seem at least to have liked it, if not loved it - I think we've generally rated it 7 or above.

Edit: actually, it would be interesting to have an FMUK average score for some films, including this one...

Sandra Bullock's performance is quite surprising. Who would have thought that Ms Congeniality could turn into an Oscar winning performance? Great acting, great movie!
