The Secret in Their Eyes

#1 Post by Beate » Thu Jul 29, 2010 9:12 pm

I got an email from lovefilm saying I won two tickets to the reviewers screening on 2 August but it was apparently sent late last night and said I have to reply by 9am tomorrow (which is today I assume) to confirm attendance. I swear I only got it now though! Did anyone else receive this email? It's that comp that superhero posted. :wall:

Hi I too have received an email at 11.36am yesterday and I replied straight away. saying :

"Hi there

congratulations on winning a pair of tickets to our special 'reviewers' screening of the Oscar-winning film, The Secrets in their Eyes.

The screening is happening on Monday 2nd August, and there will be a 6-6:30pm start.

**Please reply to this e-mail by 9am tomorrow to confirm you can attend and receive location details**

Following the screening, we would love you to write a review of the film for the LOVEFiLM site. Tom Charity, our resident reviewer, will judge the entrees and the best one will become an 'official' review.

We hope you can make it!"

I have not received the location details yet. Fingers crossed we will receive something soon - it is on Monday after all !!

I am hoping to team this offer up with the Fire & Stone free pizza posting - many thanks for that

PS Thanks again to superhero for the Secret in Their Eyes posting

This is a really fantastic film - I loved it - it's exceptional.

It was also really interesting to see a different society's take on the criminal investigation/prosecution process and the main character's alcoholic friend was hilarious.
