Tangled

#1 Post by a_person » Sun Jun 20, 2010 11:49 pm

The long-haired Princess Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but when she falls in love with a bandit who was passing by she must venture into the outside world for the first time to find him.

After a retooling, the film will be based again on the literary origins of the famous fairy tale, in the veins of Classics like "Snow White" and "Cinderella": described as a traditional, character-driven fairy tale it will speak to a modern audience, with a different new style of its own.

It was a nice trailer! and it was a standing out one as it was the only one yesterday before the Toy Story 3. The idea was for the kids to say "I want to watch it!" and they did! Will go and see it even if I have to p*y ! (hopefully not...)

The classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale gets a lavish CG makeover as directors Glen Keane and Dean Wellins team up to tell the tale of a fair-haired beauty (voiced by Mandy Moore) with long-flowing locks, a gallant hero with a heart of gold, and the evil witch who plots to keep these lovelorn innocents apart. - Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Movie Info
Starring:Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi
Theatrical Release Date:11/24/2010 (possibly in USA?)

And the other website had running time as 17 min.?!

We'll have to wait and see...

This looks so funny, i really hope to get screening tickets to this, and even my boys who are normally aghast at dragging them to what they see as girlie cartoons wants to see it.
