Farmageddon - Thursday 10th October - film stories

#1 Post by elski » Wed Oct 09, 2019 10:44 am

Come and see Farmageddon: A Shaun The Sheep Movie at a special free London preview screening – and some of the filmmakers will be there too.

One of the flat-out treats of this autumn is the brand new Aardman movie, Farmageddon: A Shaun The Sheep Movie, a film that beautifully manages to appeal to young children and older sci-fi nerds at the same time.

After much nagging on our part, our chums at StudioCanal are letting us show it to you early, too, in the latest Film Stories special reader preview screening!

It takes place on Thursday 10th October at 6 for 6.30pm. The nearest tube station to the venue is Angel.

What’s more, not only will you get to see the film a full eight days before its UK release, but we’ll be joined by some of the filmmakers for a natter too. And it’s all – to your good selves – free of charge!

Furthermore: we appreciate that you may want to bring children to this (appreciating it’s a school night). You can apply for as many seats as you’re going to use, and we’ll try and accommodate everyone if we can.

Please note that this isn’t a competition. We want to make sure that seats go to people who want them, and if that sounds like you, here are the necessaries!

DETAILS

The screening takes place in London on Thursday 10th October. Time is 6 for a 6.30pm start. The nearest tube station to the venue is Angel.

To apply for a seat, please follow @FilmStoriesPod and send a tweet that reads along the lines of:

Yes! Can I have a xxx seats for #FSShaunScreening please? @StudioCanalUK @filmstoriespod

Also, if you want to b*y a copy of Film Stories magazine in person at the screening, you’ll be able to do so!

Note that if you are Twitter-averse, you can email us at simon at filmstories co uk. Twitter is the preferred, but understand not everybody uses it.

Look forward to seeing some of you this Thursday!
