Win opening night tickets to the new Harry Potter film, and an invite to a VIP fancy dress party

Today the Birmingham Mail is giving readers the chance to win one of five family tickets to an exclusive Harry Potter charity night to celebrate the highly anticipated next instalment of the Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

There are five family tickets (five tickets each) up for grabs to the exciting event at the city’s Broadway Plaza from 6pm on July 17 – the film’s opening night. All proceeds will go to Birmingham Children’s Hospital’s Kidney Kid’s appeal, which aims to raise £1.5 million for a new renal unit.

The evening will boast a fancy dress party at Bowlplex, where guests will meet Harry Potter animals including owls, snakes, rats and toads, win prizes in the fancy dress competition, be wowed by magician Marcus Dominiscus, drink pumpkin juice from a cauldron, and get their faces painted.

Guests will then be led to the AMC cinema, where they will pick up a free bag of popcorn before settling down for their private viewing of the film - the sixth in the record-breaking Harry Potter films series.
