While I was laughing away, there was silence from the seat next to me.
She is definitely not the target audience.

He he, didn't I say it?
Let me guess - ejwrank hated it?

Give me a minute, Beate! I didn't hate it completely and there was a funny line when Ansari tells Eisenberg not to put anything on Facebook and Eisenberg calmly says he never looks at Facebook any more. But then again, I am not the target audience for this film and really glad that funthing enjoyed it. And they gave us free drinks. There was some pizza being offered but others were so greedy that I couldn't get near it.
Lovely to see funthing and glad I could finally return one of her many favours to me!

This was absolutely hilarious! Loved it. Funniest of the year for me so far.
To hell with the critics and their obnoxious 44% rating. They need to lighten the hell up.
Aziz Ansari totally stole the show. He is the afterall the funniest character on "Parks and Recreation" so I would have expected no less. And Ruben Fleischer is a God.
I do have one unrelated question though. How are the preceding trailers generally chosen?
I mean, I can understand them showcasing "Moneyball", being from the same producer as "The Social Network" (starring Jesse Eisenberg) but f**king "Straw Dogs"?? Should this trailer not have preceded something like, I don't know..."The Human Centipede 2" ??
Oh ya, it was a big theatre and I counted quite a few empty seats. Real shame most of my FMUK brethren weren't there to use them.
PS. Loved Eisenberg's "Facebook" joke. That was just inspired :)

I believe they are usually from the same distributor.
I saw all these trailers and a preview clip for
30 Minutes or
Less in the same showcase at Empire Big Screen.

The crowd actually laughed after the trailer for Straw Dogs, not sure if thats the response the director's looking for! And I just can't imagine Roland Emmerich doing a period drama....

Well I wanted to laugh
during the "Straw Dogs" trailer because the music kept reminding me of that ghastly piece of crap "Insidious".
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about ANONYMOUS.

I don't think the film's necessarily aimed at teenage boys, I think it's just Danny McBride. He really puts off all other demographics
