OK, to clarify - just asked OH for help who is English - what I meant when I wrote "furry rim" is really called an "ermine trim". :xmas:

hehe yeah trim is probably a better word... i've never heard of the other one! furry would have done. i just have a very rude mind sometimes :oops: :oops:

I've just been to see Ed Byrne (the Irish comic) and I am so tired (been up since 4.30am) that I actually dozed off during his show. :oops:

He was alright, but one of the weaker comedians I've seen. Some of his jokes aren't as funny as he thinks they are.

It really annoys me when I p*y £20 for a ticket to see a comedian, then having to sit through 20 minutes of a supporting act and then a 20 minute interval. I think it cheats the audience when the main act is only just over an hour long.

Tilly, I have booked tickets to see Michael McIntyre for September 2012 which is so far in the future that I hope I don't forget about it. The tickets were advertised as £35 but they ended up costing £40 each after all the booking fees. :angry: They usually add extra dates later on so you may get to see him.
