Got home after the Descendents gig tonight to hear the sad news that Poly Styrene (of X-Ray Spex) has died. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and was only in her early 50s. Huge loss!

oh god that's awful news! she was only just released her debut solo album too. this is so sad :(
