Well I have been known to start threads so why not? It's difficult to know what to do for the best but I try to be wary of wandering off-topic, so if I thought I was doing so, I might start a new one elsewhere. I do search, too, but not a single search has ever yielded a result for me - must be the way I'm doing it.

yeah but there doesn't seem to be any topic in here at all so i thought this must just be the general chit chat about any old thing thread. :/ oh well! steve has made a lovely new thread... which will hopefully get used!

But on that subject, whilst I know I am always banging on about "Which?" magazine and its reviews for various products and services (since it has always served me well), I was interested to hear that their survey found that Tesco and Asda both beat any actual mobile company for customer service. We've been with the same provider for 12 years but I shall bear that in mind next time I renegotiate our contract.

or a general Tech Thread, phones, TV's, tablets etc, there's all sorts of clever people here who can advise us lesser beings. I'm in the market for a smart phone, I wan't to see it its worth getting rid of my tiny laptop and get a tablet for travelling with. All sorts of things. I do have Which but there's nothing like the knowledge of someone who has this stuff

Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

The BBC news coverage doesn't seem to have a lot of information about it. Obama has confirmed it and they know it was a planned US operation, but beyond that, details are very sketchy.
