I'm Cez, though more people call me by my nickname of Ariel LOL.

Can't wait to start getting free film tickets, cinemas are way too expensive these days!

I like silent comedies.

They make me laugh but allow me to listen to my own soundtrack on ipod (or discman).

Happy hardcore is a good accompaniment to the frenetic displays of Buster Keaton; grindcore for the pathos of Charlie Chaplin.

Greetings everyone!

After months of clipping the Guardian and getting the occasional alerts from Film First, I was so pleased to find FMUK. Despite being members of both the Barbican and the Curzon, my husband and I don't always have the spare money to see all the films we'd like to see, so this is a great way to share information.

We saw the new documentary about Ayrton Senna at the Barbican (they do cheap tickets for £5 on Mondays) and it was brilliant. I've never had much more than a passing interest in Formula One, but this film is about so much more than racing. Its about passion, faith, good vs evil, and of course the sheer adrenalin of racing around chicanes at top speeds. Some of the footage taken from Senna's car during the races had me literally breathless!

Anyway I am excited about both contributing and benefitting from this board - and hope to meet some of you at screenings in the near future!

Best,
Jenlemon

Hi, my name is Ema and I’m from London. I ‘m an avid film lover, but unfortunately, don’t get the chance to go to the cinema as often as I used to. I’ve been going to advance screenings for many years now but only average about 2 or 3 a year depending on what grabs my attention.

I found this site while searching on google as I’m looking to swap my tickets for a Bridesmaids screening on 21/6. Glad to be a new member of this forum and hope I get the opportunity to enjoy a few previews in the process.

Hi, hopefully this won't feel like an AA speech. I love movies, I think I'm a typical male in that I like action, silly comedy and hate the girly fliks but my wife keeps trying to change me.
This is a great service, all thar participate in FMUK well done in spreading the love.
That all from me for now
