Life In A Day
Re: Life in a Day
This is one of good film of the year 2011. Life in a Day is an ambitious film. It seeks to encapsulate the human experience and all that it entails: life and death; love and hate; poverty and wealth; our dreams and our fears; and so on. Good movie to watch :-) :-)

Just kidding, no offence intended, but sometimes only an F word will do.
Yes the Korean guy, would love to hear more about his travels, 9 years on the road, he deserves his own film!
Re: Life in a Day
I went to see this with a friend and our screening was packed. This was much better than we thought it would be. I was worried that the clips would be too disjointed but credit to the editing team as they managed to make it work. There were some randomly funny scenes...I also liked the cyclist (his observation about the flies was funny and poignant at the same time)!

Interesting thing to note about the sky screening:
You can claim two tickets to see this unique film at one of 32 premiere screenings taking place across the country that will include live red carpet footage hosted by Alex Zane and exclusive interviews with Ridley Scott and Kevin MacDonald..

I saw it this morning and was also really impressed. Would love to learn more about the Korean cyclist too - how does he earn money? He spoke a lot about how he was driven by a desire to unite Korea but I wasn't quite sure how that was linked to his cycle. Thought this was really nicely made and poignant.

I saw this this morning too. It had some really interesting snippets of life. There were some funny moments but really didn't like the animal killings.

I agree the bits with the animals weren't comfortable viewing at all. Otherwise it was pleasant enough way to spend a Sunday morning. 6/10hlm wrote:I saw this this morning too. It had some really interesting snippets of life. There were some funny moments but really didn't like the animal killings.

Re: Life In A Day
Went to see this at Cheshire Oaks today,it was almost empty (around 20 people).
We all found it interesting but its more suited to channel 4 than the big screen.
We give it a 5/10
