Re: Weight Watchers
ooh thanks for the above mr G! you rock.
Today I walked to the cinema, i got the bus home though as it was raining! I noticed the walk wasn't as bad as it used to be!
I'm going to a festival at the weekend so lots more dancing and walking coming my way too!
I've also started to use the nike app on my iphone that tracks the walking etc and plays songs from my phone. This might be a cool little toy that will make me find something fun in walking because i flipping hate it.

Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks Glassy, that chart looks brill. i plan to look around for the scales on Friday when i'm out shopping. Those measurments are cool, i'll do them too. I have been mega busy these last few weeks, much stress at work, daughters birthday weekend and my sisters wedding at the end of this week but after Sunday on holiday from work for a fortnight - perfect time to kick start my new fitness regime
Did you manage to stay away from fattening things on your birthday??

Well done with the walks! Can I pursuade you to install Runkeeper for your Iphone? Then you can be part of my street team and we can encourage each other. Runkeeper is very popular and can be linked with facebook and does exactly what the Nike app does but more and better. Of course, its also free :)aruif wrote:ooh thanks for the above mr G! you rock.

......and you deserved every pieceTheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:No, I never tried to stay away from it eitherhavingascreen wrote: Did you manage to stay away from fattening things on your birthday??You see, we all need our comfort days as a reward treat, dont we. Sundays were always my reward days because its the days I play cricket and so have the customary pint of beer with the lads and the "teas" (which is the cricket term for mid afternoon eateries including sandwhiches and cakes). Still, the reward days must be in moderation, no excessiveness. But being my birthday and had just completed 75km of running for the whole week, I knew I can indulge on my mother's delicious home baked cake...and indulged, I did

Re: Weight Watchers
Well day three for me and I've fallen totally off the wagon so to speak. After my visit to the Dr I've been told I'm being referred for a Colonoscopy, and I won't be able to eat solids for 3 days
. Well apart from being terrified of the procedure, I'm eating like a loon, trying to compensate for this
Hopefully I'll calm down tomorrow and eat properly

Re: Weight Watchers
How is everyone doing? Remembering your goals? Reciting them daily? Watching what you eat? Rewarding your self on your seventh day?
Dont forget our progress project. Participants, have you all got your measurments? Even measuring your waist will be enough if you dont have weighing scales or body fat scales. A tape measure is all you need. And if you dont have one of those, than this link will give you no more excuses as these people will send you a tape measure for FREE! Thanks to Tilly who actually posted this up in the Bargains Board-Freebies thread :)
