As in I don't seem to take shit from people any more. I will not be walked on/over anymore. In fact I've never had a fight in my life but I almost did tonight when this girl was hurting me and insisted she wasn't. i have never spoken to anyone in such a firm and angry menacing tone before. How DARE she tell me she's not hurting me when she bloody well was.

I really am just sick of people thinking they can treat me however the like because I'm too nice to say anything.

NOT ANY MORE.

I actually got so pissed off with my cousin's bf that i deleted him off my facebook page because i don't like him anymore and find him an arrogant self important prick who likes to pick on people. NO. not having it.

yeah... so don't mess with me. I'm not longer in the mood.

:)
So, no more Miss Nice Gal? :) Well done...never let anyone even THINK they can walk over you. You will find your friends and others will show you more respect and in most cases they become better quality friends. That also goes especially for bosses too! Anyone who dont show you respect, you have no obligation to respect them back but never do tit for tat, just hold your your own principles, and not get drawn down to others' level of disrespect. This is Darwin's world, survival of the fittest! There is, I am afraid no place for gullibility no matter how sweet or good you are. So be that same sweet, good person that you are and continue to eliminate the gullibility :)

I'm too of the chicken ilk but I am rarely put in the position of being disrespected. I find that if someone is trying to have a go I just go extremely quiet keep my eyes focused on their eyebrows so they think that you are looking into their eyes and they soon run out of steam and realise that I will not respond to bad behaviour, try it it really works and they soon look like a lemon. I do it at work and very quickly they apologise but never say it doesn't matter because it does. I did it recently when a patient was going on at me as he thought he had an appointment but was a day too soon and was going on so much that he had an audience so I let him carry on with himself and when he had finished I politely told him after a pause that today was Thursday not Friday.

Good for you aruif, shame that people can be so disrespectful especially as you are so lovely.

LOL perfection, Diane! Silence can send a very strong message o/ And then the calmest of rational sentences serves the knockout punch. Awesome, I can just picture you elegance at it, wish I can be even half that good.
