I guess floor standing goes first? I prefer seats probably. I was going to say I better go at 18:30 this Thursday then, I am seeing Adele, but then again they've only released the same amount of tickets I would have hoped and not over-allocated too much!

No iTunes tickets for me either this time, but then I wasn't too fussed about


any of the acts this year. Maybe if anyone goes to Paul Simon on the first night, they can report back on the ID situation.

They checked IDs thoroughly I'm afraid.

Also, someone asked what time you should get there, this is what happened last night:

They said doors open at 6.30, shows starts at 8. And it did on the dot, they even had a countdown 1 minute before the start. My friend and I arrived at 6.45, joined the VERY long queue and finally got in around 7.15. The queue that had appeared behind us was enormous and I heard 30 mins into the show from someone else that there was still a queue outside of people waiting to get in! So it is recommendable to actually get there before 7 if you want to ensure you get in on time and get a decent spot (floor is is standing, second level is seats)

There are two doors and two queues - one marked Competition, and one marked Guest List.
Comp winners are floor standing. Guest List are seats. I didn't win but my friend somehow got onto the Guest List. Doors open at 6.30pm but we were sent pillar to post as they kept giving us standing wrist bands, finally after much complaining, she got the seats wristband.

Also very strict on ID.

It really depends on the crowd. We were by far not the first people to get in, yet we were standing fifth row on the floor and seating was about 25% full at the time. A lot of people surprisingly hang around the bar and didn't take a seat or floor space until very shortly before the show started. If you show up ay 6.30 you should be fine, have fun at Adele she's great!

EDIT: Never mind, didn't realise that only guest list would get seats!

I think I saw Adele in the audience last night. It looked very much like her!

Oh I am not guestlist, it was a comp win, so I guess no seats then
Do they not offer up seats if they are available though?

Had the same problem. Had to go to desk to get wristbands and then back downstairs to get the correct ones!

Someone told me that there was also another queue for people to wait. Kinda like a reserves queue - Meaning that if ticket holders didnt turn up then they would let them in instead. Not sure if thats true or not.

I got there around ten to seven and I thought the queue moved pretty quickly to be honest and I did get asked to show ID. But upon speaking to people in the garden area a lot of them had tickets with someone elses name. A guy had his brother inlaws tickets and all he brought was a card with his name on. Some other lady told me that she just blagged and said really sorry I havent got any on me. Both were let in.

This is correct. It's the small queue in between barriers next to the giant queue for competition winners (guest list people are at another entrance entirely).
