Our table presents are only small and usually more jokey than serious. We usually get them when we go to see santa with the kids - yes they are both teenagers but it is now one of our traditions - but this year I picked them all up when we were in New York in March!

A good place to look for them is good old BHS. They usually have the drinks and chocs idea and if you leave it until quite late they reduce the price right down. I have seem them slashed from the £8 mark to the £2/£3. The only thing we insist on is that all the table presents have a theme i.e. if one gets a joke book everyone gets a book etc.

That's brilliant! You just need some chocolate to go with that, and maybe some wine...!
