Re: Horrible Bosses
Saw this at a packed Westerhailes, Edinburgh tonight. Very funny and much, much better than Hangover11. Glad I chose to go and see this and not Beginners judging by the reviews. 9/10

Re: Horrible Bosses
Saw this at Lee Valley tonight. Initial thoughts are poor. I thought Kevin Spacey was superb, as he always is, and Jennifer Aniston did something different as opposed to her usual moping around the screen. She gets a thumbs up from me this time. Jason Sudeikis is a vile, dismal actor. I care not for his Saturday Night Live efforts. He stinks of cheese and arrogance. He's destined to never rise above this genre of poor, tasteless comedies. Charlie Day just makes a load of odd noises (often odd, loud noises) - that is pretty much all he does. For a comedy, it is seldom funny. There are no extreme laugh out loud moments. The dialogue is abysmal. It doesn't even attempt to sound vaguely realistic.
Those are my very brief initial thoughts - I may expand on then when I can be bothered.

Re: Horrible Bosses
I was excited for this, as Charlie Day is becoming my favourite actor. His roles in things outside Its always sunny in philadelphia have been hilarious! Tonight was no exception. I loved it. I dont know if i was being a "fanboy" but there were parts i was crying with laughter that not many others seemed to catch on to or find funny!
I enjoyed this movie, it was right up my humour alley.
Too note, i was at the Glasgow showing and i thought the sound was pretty poor at some points throughout the movie. Almost as if the sound hadnt went through a final check. Especially when going from inside to outside the car? (i know the sound is meant to change obviously, it just didnt seem right). The voiceover at the start seemed like it was shouted down a microphone at a concert. Im just back from TITP so could be sufffering hearing loss.

Saw this at a packed Whiteleys tonight. The film was a cross between the Three Stooges, nine to five and strangers on a train! As a result, I don't think it really worked though it did have it's moments. Casting Colin Farrell was a stroke of genius though - I liked his performance best of all.

That's what I'm waiting to see, Colin Farrell. He look so different to how he is in Fright Nightdovetail wrote:Saw this at a packed Whiteleys tonight. Re: Horrible Bosses
Saw this last night at a pretty packed Metro Centre. Expected it to be like most films and that all the funny parts would have been shown in the trailer... Boy I was wrong. I'd had a rubbish day at work and this was exactly what I needed. Hilarious and by the end of the film my insides hurt from laughing so much. I panicked when I saw Jennifer Anniston was in the film but for once she took on a total new role and she was pretty blooming good. Charlie Day stole the show for me like and I may have fallen in love him a little bit now.
Top movie 9/10

Re: Horrible Bosses
I couldnt go last night and had to go see thriller at the empire....which in itself was very good!
So my hubby took our teenage son to see this in my place! he he ....He found it very funny along the lines of Hangover! But did say he hadnt expected it to be so rude from looking at the trailer! He said at one point he was cringing so much that he could have slid under the chair at the rude bits lol! Apparently my teenager was very red and you could feel the glow from his face at the front aisle! lol great father/son experience......I can picture this as being similiar to sitting on the sofa with my parents as a child and the kissing scenes coming on the TV followed by the "Shut your Eyes young girl!".........wish id gone to see it now

Saw this last night at the Greenwich Odeon. Once we'd got sound and picture after the third attemept, I laughed out loud in a good few places and generally thought funny film. Colin Farrell was great as Bobby and I thought Jenifer Aniston was fun as the foxy wanton dentist. Never seen Charlie Day in a film before I dont think, but thought he was the best one of the three!

Really enjoyed this one, it was very stupid but funny, with some amusing dialogue. A bit crude at times and the language was a bit much, but enjoyed it a lot. 8/10
