But this is definitely the motivation I need to get things back on track and I think I will try and get to a Slimming World class in the next week or two.

Re: Weight Watchers
I am due to have a minor operation at the end of August and I went for a pre-assessment at the hospital this morning. I was shocked at my weight as I knew I had gone off the rails recently but I didn't think I weighed that much.

I've still not weighed myself as the scales at work are no where to be found. But we will get there with the help of MrGlass and his harem (as in us lovely ladies obeying the wise onehavingascreen wrote:I'm 13 stone, better than the 14 stone of last week, i knew those scales were broken. Re: Weight Watchers
that'd be a good way to stop you eating all the fattening stuff Valda
I started healthy eating again yesterday. Had porridge for breakfast with just a sprinkling of raisons. a banana mid morning, salad and chicken pakora for lunch and spag bol for dinner.....well maybe not 100% healthy but i had only one cup of tea with one sugar and no biccies. My one treat was a little spoonfull of halawa turk.
Today i'm cooking up one of Mr G's suggested omlettes - I've got no spinach but got the rest of the stuff. Shorba for lunch with some chesera (North African soup and bread) one orange and one banana for munching on when i'm peckish. Lots of homemade cakes arrived at my house yesterday but i've never had one.....I'm feeling strong guys

That would be daunting being weighed before lunch.havingascreen wrote:that'd be a good way to stop you eating all the fattening stuff Valda![]()

Well done havingascreen that sounds fab, I've just had branflakes for breakfast and I'm having butternut squash soup for lunch with organic multi-seed bread and an orange but I'm going out for dinner tonight as its my best friends birthday. I'm driving to Lancaster after work tonight which is a 100 mile round trip; I know that calories don't count when I'm in London but does the same hold true for Lancaster?
I've never heard of Shorba or chesera.
I have lost 1/2 inch from my waist was hoping for 1inch but would have to breathe in.
