Both me and my bf have been following MrGs gym rota thing :P even though we tripped up last week only going twice due to other arrrangements but we will be going as normal this week, weve been doing fat burning on 2-3 machines but i am yet to drag him into a class(as he doesnt like people) but im working on it.

But hes noticed a difference on his flab, I have yet to but we did take measurements at the beginning of the month and plan to take them again at the start of next month :)

And unfortunatly MrG, for my birthday I have asked for my birthday meal at TGIs and better/worse yet.....a Ben N Jerrys Ice cream Cake :shifty:

you have to eat, that's why its called break fast! Say you went to bed at 11pm that would mean you haven't eaten for 14 hours or more. when you do eat you will start binging and eating rubbish cos you are so hungry. :nono:

Where's MrG?
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

i know. i know. i just ate a banana.

this is one of my biggest problems. i don't like eating sometimes. i can go about 20 hours without eating anything, sometimes without drinking anything either. i know it's really bad for me and i don't know why i do it, i've always been like it, unless there's an actual lunch break or something at work or other people are eating i'm terrible for eating.

and valda you're right sometimes it does make me want to eat the bad things but not always. if i can be good and not b*y them in the first place then there's nothing bad to actually eat (not that i can say it is always the case!!)

aruif I'm as bad, very, very rarely do I eat breakfast, but can't function without a cup of tea or 2...or 3! I will sometimes have something mid morning but more often than not I won't eat till lunchtime. I'm just not hungry and can't face it, I know do it all the wrong way round and eat most of my food in the evening, but have always been like that, even as a child.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Any ideas how to stop eating when you're stressed?

I try and find something else to do, exercise to clear your head or talk to friends.
Aruif you really do need to eat more often otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and then its really tough to get through the day and also wrecks your sleep patterns as your body will be working hard to get energy from wherever it can so not in a relaxed state when you're trying to sleep and then the cycle starts again. What can we do to help you? Moral support, encouragement, meal plans or exercise programmes just let us know and we're all here for you.

Very long days work and pretty exhausting yesterday, Val. Why? What's happenning?..ooh lots of activity here girls! Liking the improvements to your diets, workouts, measuring your sizes and even resisting in your face temptations!

Wait...whats happening Aruif?! Why you not eating, girl? Listen to Diane, that was perfect advice. I preach about splitting meals into 5 but I assumed you are all at least eating 3 meals a day. NOT just ONE or 2 a day 8O So first step. Discipline your self to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner and eat no later than 7:30-8pm. If you can jump straight to 5 smaller meals even better. So for the next couple of days tell us all what you had for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We just want to know you are eating! Lots of veg (variety too) and plenty of water. I'll stop repeating myself until you get sick of me saying it and start adapting to the healthier lifestyle ;) And let us know how you getting on o/ DONT SKIP MEALS. Thats bad, ok? Got me worried now...EAT!

Val, I see you offered up your food festival tickets to resist temptations, lol. Yay, I am impressed :)

Rawr_oxo...great stuff with your workouts...remember, its about the intensity of your workouts that produces results, not duration. o/ And enjoy your TGI's and Ben N Jerry's because that day will be your deserved reward day and the days leading up to it will be your health eating days :)

Diane...WOW awesome progress, 1/2 inch! o/ o/ o/ Oh its going to be such an impressive progress chart this week. 100mile drive?? whoa that's going to be tiring. Treat yourself to just one cheat meal in Lancaster if you can. But enjoy your trip.

Evilzadi, I have to battle that myself sometimes. Diane gave great advice. When highly stressed, you can take a back step, relax with a cup of herbal tea. Dont think about work for a as long as you can afford not to. During this break, read a book, or exercise. You should not be feeling hungry if you already adapted to a healthy eating pattern (ie 5 meals a day or at the very least, 3).

HAV: you healthy diet lifestyle looks to be really coming on o/ Keep it up. Dont forget to reward yourself with your favourite treat once a week :)

Willpower girls. You all have that gift, so use it :)

here's what i've had.
yesterday i had a banana, root vegetable crisps and houmous then scrambled egg on toast (seedy toast) for dinner and 1 square of dark chocolate yum!

today i had a mini muller rice and a jacket potato with beans and cheese (yes cheese) and i'm about to eat a square of d.chocolate!

see i am eating just not 3 times a day yet, but twice a day is an improvement on once a day, which is a habit i do have :S

i'm going to a party on friday so will eat lots that day probably! o/ healthily with some treats! it's a bbq/salad type party but i am on cupcake making duty!
