and everyone keeps asking me to make cakes - but i end up eating them too so have refused all cake making requests!

i have to add here that i am on medication for a medical issue that is weight related so it is a bit of a cheat but in order for them to work and not make me feel really really sick i can't eat certain foods (mainly high GI ones). so it is from actual effort to be good too!

i need to start doing some toning though, especially on my arms! :O
Bake the cakes to order, cash first then make the cakes. My friend has started doing that, and she makes awesome statement cakes for parties o/

I agree with Valda, could be a really good little sideline if you have the time and enjoy making them. A friend of mine is very good at making cakes and would always make her kids the most amazing birthday cakes so of course people started how much would she charge to make them one. Within about 6 months of doing it seriously her orders have really taken off and she has now branched out into sweets & soaps.

Here's a link to her cake FB page if you want any ideas.....and if all goes well you'll be like most bakers and be sick of the sight of them so won't want to eat them!

I shouldn't have gone to that link :shifty: But wow so scrummy. it is a good idea though Aruif. I'd rather get a home baked cake for birthdays at work, than a common or garden Supermarket one.

no i don't think so. if she goes she'll take it with her no doubt, she seems to have a fold up hoop she takes everywhere these days hehe.

...

i've just turned down lunch out with my mum and sis because i know i'll not manage to take the healthy option and so am going to have poached egg on seeded toast with spinach here at home instead. i also feel sick today.

great! But still treat yourself once a week. And try get into the gym rhythm you had before.

I dont know whats happened but I every time I sweat, I am getting these rashes in the last few days. Even though I shower after every workout. Never had this before, I must have picked up something somewhere??? The rashes go afterwards but then come back after I workout again. I put anticeptic cream but that doesnt help.

sounds like maybe you have an allergy. you might need to pop along to a chemist asap to see what they suggest and if they can't help then off to the doctors with you! you don't want it getting any worse!
