Free Fun Lovin' Criminals gig in Leeds area (well, Bingley) next Friday (2nd Sep)
Thanks to HUKD

Bingley music festival has not a bad line-up, for £35 for the weekend it would be a good crack. The £35 ticket tho doesn't include the Friday as the Friday is free! Fun Lovin' Criminals are awesome so a good freebie.

Concert finishes at 10pm on the friday, so head to town after and get your funk on.

Might not be strictly free as you will need to use your travelcard but fun nevertheless:

You are cordially invited to the biggest Monopoly game you've ever participated in!

The Aim: Visit as many places on the London Monopoly Map

The Result: Eternal Glory!! And maybe just fun...

The idea: Everyone will start at London Waterloo Station. Here you will pair up and be given a Game Bag. Amongst other things this will include dice, a tube map, a monopoly map (edited slightly) and a pack of Chance Cards. You must provide yourself with a camera of sorts. (If I can afford it) each team will be supplied with 1 disposable camera. You will also have to provide a playing figurine of your choice

Each pair will roll their dice and set off that many places on the Monopoly board. If you roll a 3 you make your way via tube/bus/bike/feet to Whitechapel Road. Once there you must take a photo of yourself and/or your figurine at the location.

You roll the dice again and set off!

'Go' will always be Waterloo station and you *must* pass there on your journey round the board. You must take a photo every time you go through Waterloo.

Certain locations will be designated as 'Chance' locations. In such a place you will draw a chance card from your pack. You must follow the instructions or undertake the challenge described on the card. We do understand that not everyone will enjoy some of the sillier chance cards so if you *do* object to the challenge you can of course pick again.

Prizes will be issued for most number of places visited and most visits to a particular place. Make sure you take photos of the rest of the world too, there might be some prizes there...

The excursion will take place on one day only but I left the time period open for now to see when people were available. Please comment with the weekends you are available so I can draw up some kind of plan. Please also invite as many people as you like.

No doubt I'll come up with more information to put up here but this should do for now! Looking forward to seeing you!
