Is it not possible to get cheaper tickets for The Lion King? I really want to see it but not at that price.

Sort of saw Rock of Ages for the third time this week (not really, but almost) as they were at the BBC Proms in the Park to perform - so good! And they did a lot of different songs from when they were at West End Life (incl. my favourite "Here I Go Again") which I'll upload to YouTube when I have a chance.

Something else: Does anyone know how to get 2-for-1 tickets on musicals? Usually when I go I get the cheapest tickets that are further back and/or restricted view, however I want to treat my mother to We Will Rock You and Rock of Ages next month and want to give her the best experience possible. But I won't be able to shell out between £60-£100 for a single ticket on either of those...

This is a request for information from all you London FMUK'ers.
We're visiting our daughter in London in October and one of the things we intend to do while we're there is take in a show. I'm not looking for free tickets but the best place in your opinion to b*y tickets. I've looked on the internet and apart from a vast range of pricing, there also seems to be different types of tickets and I'm concerned I might p*y over the odds or even get ripped off. I know there are bona fide companies selling the tickets but I'm after some really good info from an intelligent and knowledgeable forum (that enough grovelling?). Seriously, any hints and tips are welcome.
