I'm not posh (or rich) enough for the ROH!

You don't need to be post or rich to go to ROH, just need to know what seats to go for. And the linbury studios do more modern productions and that's very cheap

Agree re the Linbury Studios productions - they often look really appealing. So many shows, so little time!

The operas at The Linbury studio also tend to be much shorter.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
They have a full procedure of what to offer if seats are not selling and the list is quite long anyway, so for example, they would do corporate offer to the Goldman Sachs, the Clifford Chances, then the high end publications, then when they are desperate maybe a Metro offer and then on the day standby ticket prices and then maybe free ticket offers to staff. I very much doubt they need to fit SFF into the grand scheme of things

Well they sound far too organised for SFF, amongst other things - and probably just as well, given their clientele - can't see bankers, etc, standing for overbooking, late starts, and so on!
