Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Mentally liquid, sure, but my excuse is that this will likely be the last batch of free tickets, what with press night being tomorrow and all. (mind you, that was my excuse on Friday too

Which is tomorrow. Obviously I wouldn't consider going again then as I am already going tonight...

If they did give out free tickets for press night, I don't think they would be distributed through SFF.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Well, a bad dress rehearsal means a fanastic press night/opening night, right? Whatever could go wrong at Rock of Ages today did in fact go wrong.
Lots of understudies: Joey Primo played Stacee Jaxx (Valda will be happy to know she didn't miss Shayne!), a kid from the ensemble played Joey Primo and we had understudy!Sherrie again (though she's growing on me and I even think she does "Harden My Heart" better than regular!Sherrie). The guy understudies were quite poor though and often didn't hit their marks (or a breast or a cowboy head), but then we were told afterwards they hadn't had any rehearsals so I suppose it could've been worse.
There were also sound issues again including with the track for Ambrosia/Candy, meaning she was miming her lines at a different time than the sound at one point and during the bit with the pizza ("This pizza tastes like shit") Oliver (Drew) had to say the line out loud.
But, of course, we still had fun regardless. Often had to start the cheering/clapping/lights though but the rest of the audience eventually joined it. I do wonder why the people behind us always ask afterwards how often we've seen the show

My vague references to fellow ROA-ers would've let people guessing had you not commented after me
