I'm still confused about this test screening business! Someone just posted a link on MSE:

http://web.orange.co.uk/article/film/fo ... ing-414244

That page mentions Sun 9th October but the tickets are actually for Thurs 6th?!

THere maybe a couple of reasons to explain this
1. Human Error - Whoever did the orange website got the date wrong.
2. They all talked to each other in regards to the actual date but then one of them changes their mind and forgot to tell the other one so Orange still thinks it is Sunday whilst Paramount and SFF think it is Thursday.

All you can do is point the differences to the parties involved for them to sort out.

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

yeah it the orange page appeared yesterday but the code wasn't live yet and orangefilm said it wasn't supposed to be live yet so maybe give it a bit of time for either orange or paramount to change the info on their page it might be one or the other at the moment. So people's tickets may or may not be valid, they look like real SFF tickets when printed.

I think orangefilm will tweet when it's finally 'official' .

Do we think this is going to be a Sunday Morning screening then? I had 4 extra tickets for whoever wanted them but better wait until the actual date/time is confirmed by Orange.

i don't remember much about the first time round. whilst looking for the latest trailer saw this clip from the 1984 original.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN2tw9Bs ... re=related kevin bacon and the other boy (who??) learningto dance. quite funny.

i also saw the original trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtjI6OHVk00

lots of shot for shot in the remake trailers it seems.

i hate when trailers tell most of the film.

I love the original...the characters are endearing and believable, even if the plot is not.

It looks like the test screening bit has gone now. The date is still listed as the Thurs though.

Just watched Footloose at Southampton Odeon last night and really enjoyed it from start to finish. There was free popcorn and drinks for everyone all thanks to Virgin Media. The story was predictable and the music excellent my feet were tapping along to it. Overall we all came out was smiles on our faces a great evening out. o/ o/
