It's the RoA gala night tonight, when all the celebs hang out!
Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
A couple of press reviews for all you RoA fans; one awful and one pretty darn good! :

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
FYI The Telegraph reviewer was at Monday's show, not press night, a dress rehearsal where everything that could go wrong basically did go wrong. Also, he's critiquing Shayne Ward for his performance, even though the understudy was on that night! Poor journalism to not check the facts I'd say.

If that's the case then it sounds like the Telegraph journalist has some sort of axe to grind. Shocking journalism to say the least.canadian_turtle wrote:FYI The Telegraph reviewer was at Monday's show, not press night, a dress rehearsal where everything that could go wrong basically did go wrong. Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I agree. There's nothing wrong with a (constructive) bad review. I know this isn't a groundbreaking show and certainly not for everyone. But this reviewer clearly didn't do his research and unjustly faults the show and its cast.

Tweet him to tell him off?
Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
You might want to send a correction to The Telegraph too. They should want to correct the fact that they have named the wrong actor in their review.canadian_turtle wrote:I agree.
