so difficult to understand the strong Irish accents -- quite impenetrable to our ears. Great staging and excellent set but overall we felt disappointed.

That said -- still very happy that prettyxcool found a non-VIP code so we could spend an evening in the theatre so many thanks to her! We were also given a voucher for a free programme by someone (critic maybe?) who happened to have a spare so we lucked out all round.
I went too with my oh and two friends, and we got great seats in the stalls. I couldn't understand well what some of the actors were saying due to the strong accents, especially the lead actress (who according to my English friend had a mixture of West Indies and Irish accent). I enjoyed the play, but I don't think my friends liked it that much.

Oh, the guy who plays Arthur in the series Camelot was sitting 3 rows in front of me. :D

yep, that's the guy I mean (had to look up his name in imdb now). His girlfriend was a skinny red haired. I'm guessing Bonnie Wright? They were very low profile.

The idiots from SFF sent the same code for two different shows so only Rock of Ages is showing!

Just saw on the Rock of Ages UK twitter that you can download 15 Broadway tracks for free via itunes. It includes a RoA track but I guess it will be the US cast.

I had no idea it only came out this week. I thought it started a month ago.

Isn't @rockofages_uk a great informative Twitter account? :shifty:

The RoA track on the CD is "I Wanna Rock".

The show started previews a month ago (August 31) but the official opening night was last night.

That would explain why there were so many preview tickets then.
