No, Superhero - thank you, but this is last week's, which I optimistically placed in the recycling box yesterday, fully expecting its replacement to arrive!superhero wrote:I have the link for Timeout last week for free:

Is that the one you are missing?

Re: The Diary Room
There must be a free online issue for this week too, considering the strike is national this week.

Re: The Diary Room
But this is the puzzling thing: from what I can see, the strike isn't national. Not only that, but surely if there was an online link for the magazine, the subscription department would have known and offered to send it to me?

Re: The Diary Room
Well this link was offered to people last week when there wasn't suppose to be any strikes...

Re: The Diary Room
That makes sense, then: don't offer subscribers the link in the week when there really are supposed to be strikes! But why wasn't it sent to me last week? Oh well, I have my new "Which?" to read instead...

I don't know if it was sent out to Times subscribers (I am not a subscriber) but I just saw it on MSE.

Re: The Diary Room
I cancelled our subscription to Time out as we have been getting it on a Saturday instead of Wednesday for a couple of months now due to local strikes on a Wednesday.
They offered to extend our subscription but I didn't see the point at the moment. I will join again when they have a new offer on.
They did say that in some areas they were using a courrier service to deliver to people, but they looked it up and fuond that ours was not one of them (it never is!). Might be worth asking though for anyone who lives more centrally than us.

I don't live in East London, but I know what you mean, I've been getting localised strikes for the last few months too! I hardly ever get my lovefilm dvds now!

Re: The Diary Room
I think it's the sorting office striking today and the delivery staff striking tomorrow
