Special FREE ENTRY Winter Openings at London's oldest botanic garden
(Entrance via 66 Royal Hospital Road)
Mon 5th - Fri 9th & Mon 12th - Fri 16th December
10.00am to 4pm
Chelsea Physic Garden is traditionally closed to the public during December but this year London's oldest botanic garden welcomes visitors FREE of charge. FIA World Championship winning Formula One team Red Bull Racing is set to tear-up the streets of Milton Keynes on Saturday, 10th December, with a sensational demo run featuring World Drivers’ Champion Sebastian Vettel, team-mate Mark Webber and former Grand Prix ace David Coulthard.
Billed the ‘Home Run’ by the Renault-powered team, the event – which will be centred on Midsummer Boulevard between 12.30 and 15.00 – is expected to be attended by thousands as the dominant force of F1 provides a festival of sight, sound and high speed. Best of all, it’s FREE!
Once again in 2011 the partnership of Renault and Milton Keynes-based Red Bull Racing has been untouchable and this celebration, organised in collaboration with Milton Keynes Council, is a rare opportunity to experience the power and excitement of an F1 car up-close in a unique environment.
Alongside double F1 champion Vettel and multiple Grand Prix winner Webber lighting-up their Renault RS27 engined RB7 cars between Saxon Gate and Grafton Gate, BBC F1 commentator Coulthard will drive a Red Bull NASCAR and motorcycle stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer will entertain the crowds with some spectacular two-wheeled tricks.
