You can type in smilies the old fashioned way if you know the bbcode for them... :P

I just used the quick reply box to post on free films. Whilst I was typing Phunkygal posted the same code (obviously quicker at typing than me!). I did not notice this as there was no warning that someone had posted in the meantime.
Am I right in thinking that a warning used to come up on the old site under these circumstances? Is it because I used 'quick reply' rather than just 'reply' that this didn't happen?

yeah i haven't seen it yet when it should have appeared a few times
with code posting i always just double check by clicking on active topics in another window the second before i post anyways

i have just tried quick reply and it was no quicker than normal. i don't get it, what does it do please?
