I'm so not ready for christmas yet......I need another month!!!! :cross: :roll:

1. xmas cards not written
2. hence xmas cards not posted!!!!!! :eek:
3. appropriate xmas pressies decided upon yet.....this is the bit that takes time! :eek:
4. hence xmas pressies not b*ght
5. hence xmas pressies not wrapped
6. xmas dinner not figured out yet
7. hence xmas dinner/party stuff not b*ght
8. decorations still where we shoved em in January
9. WE DON'T HAVE A TREE YET!!!!!! :eek:
10. Did I mention I'm not prepped for christmas?

Seriously....everythings gone to hell this year. Not just my lovely spreadsheet of free films which started off so nicely.

New Year Resolution: Must kick ass next yr. *sigh*


Is anyone else as CRAP as I am this year? I'm the posterchild for how not to get ready for Christmas!! :tears: :roll: :p

Off on another (very brief) Xmas market trip later today, so while I'm in the mood, I am looking for suggestions for next year, please - in the UK and northern Europe and preferably places accessible by train. Any ideas?

Bruges is supposed to be magical at Christmas, its beautiful the rest of the year so I imagine stunning at Christmas. Enjoy your trip today. Copenhagen also looks amazing in the Tivoli Gardens, another place on my list to visit one day.

Thank you for the suggestions, Diane65. I suppose I should have mentioned places we'd already visited as I'm giving Bruges a rest for a while (though never actually been there for Xmas), but you and OH are thinking along the same lines as he has also suggested Copenhagen!

I'm afraid it would be very cold, but I would certainly like to go there. OH's top choice is Dusseldorf as he wants to visit a particular art gallery, and I'm always happy to go to Germany but we have been twice this year so I was thinking maybe we should ring the changes?
