Impossible to pick one. A top ten for each year would be challenging enough for me.

Don't worry I haven't, That's why Logan goes on the run.TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:
F3lix, did you just give away the ending to Logan's Run???
I like your idea of a genre top ten. I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Can't choose one film but 2 that immediately come to mind:
Chinatown
Jacob's Ladder

Schindler's List just pips The Shawshank Redemption for me :)

It's interesting how your list stacks up when you're just picking one film over another.
There my current top 2 are American Beauty and Trainspotting

Yeah it's quite an intersting site, if they're close in my head I just pick which I'd want to watch again more if it was on TV right this minute.
It also reminds me that I really have many, many favourites when it comes to films:
Schindler's List, The Shawshank Redemption, LA Confidential, Saving Private Ryan, The Matrix, Braveheart, American Beauty, Apocalypse Now, The Doors, Groundhog Day, American History X to name but a few...
I've also got some new ones edging in too:
Juno, The Departed, The Dark Knight etc

Re: FAVOURITE FILM OF ALL TIME
Then again, it's frustrating when you have to pick between two masterpieces (e.g. I got LA Confidential and Chinatown) and then two godawful pieces of crap (Forrest Gump and The Da Vinci Code)...
Top 50 Poster!

Oh, and LA Confidential over Chinatown IMO!
