Well done Valda! I'm not sure I could have walked away from the chicken shop!!!

bad things i have eaten this week include: 1 chocolate reindeer, 8 chocolate fingers, 1 piece of chocolate, christmas cake, a curry (not all the sause, 1/2 rice and 1/4 nan), pasta with creamy sauce.

good things i have eaten this week; loads of veg; raw and cooked, healthier carbs, fruit, drank green tea and lots of water.

importantly i am eating 3 times a day with healthy snacks of fruit/nuts/carrots/peppers.

fat club at work has really specific scales and so i know i've lost almost 2 lbs, but i've put down just the one.

tonight i'm having pizza though! next week is my birthday so i expect it to be a blow out.

then after that i just need to cut out that bad list up there!!!

oh and i'm waiting to find out about the gym membership through work! :D

Aruif well done, you've made a brilliant start, have you started to feel more energetic eating all those lovely healthy foods. I've noticed i've got a lot more vavavoom.

I've eaten all my bad stuff this weekend, well it started Thursday after zumba with a chinese. In my defense i did cook a chicken stirfry but the chicken tasted off i just couldn't be bothered cooking after that. Friday i had chicken tikka marsala and 4 lagers but they were bud lights so maybe less fat in them. Saturday i had a healthy breakfast of porridge but a latte and a piece of lemon drizzle cake then a McDonalds BUT did snack on oatcakes and banana. Today i've had a healthy breakfast but will be having a roast chicken dinner. Will get back into it tomorrow.

Hope you get the gym member ship sorted out o/

You're allowed to have lots of indulgence on your birthday...enjoy

Pulled a naughty last night, after having such an awful night, I ate about 5 flumps left over from the tuck shop and then Ria offered me a slice of victoria sponge cake, so I ended up with that too :/
Flumps were fat free I suppose, just feel bad cause my will power all week has been amazing.
It's interesting how much feelings cane change your outlook isnt it :/

I went to the gym on Friday and did a combat class which was great fun as my mate Shane was there. he came back from Australia a year or so ago, but that's when I stopped going to class :(

So yesterday for some reason I had a Chcken Pad Thai and a club sandwhich and didn't enjoy either, but I still lost another lb and updated my tracker. Next week will be better. The more I try my old favs and don't enjoy them, the least likely I will be to order again.

Good work everyone and keep it up. I realise most of us till have rubbish lying around after Christmas but once its gone, its gone. o/ vx

Its the chocolates and biscuits at my work that my colleagues keep bringing in that tempt me the most, my OH has hidden ours and only brings them out when i'm not around.

I've had a huge 4 course dinner with cream and chocolate cake, even my coffee had cream in it :tears: I didn't eat any of the cheese on offer at the end but it was only cause i couldn't fit it in.

Will hulahoop tonight to shift it.

I've not lost any weight yet, weekends are my downfall :undecided:

If you think your system is having a shock with reduced calories, and different sorts of food. Stick with it and after a while you will get used to it. Re chocolate and sweets, I have fun sized stuff sometimes and toffees so you get your snickers, but its a tiny one (as long as its just one)
Re Birthday, you know its coming up and you know you are going to have a wild time, so deny yourself sweets and pizza for a few days, then it won't be so bad. vx

Havingascream, Sounds like once you have one bad thing, you just carry on as you've got it in your head that you've failed so you might as well carry on. That was always my downfall.

i am indeed going to be good! my birthday involves going for lunch with work and then dinner with family! on the same day!!!! then on the saturday drinks and mexican!! aahhhhhh!!

i need to try and be good in the 2 days between and the 2 days before.

What i really need to do is get back to the gym.

if i want to lose weight as a goal, it never happens. if i want to get healthy as a goal... it does. so time to think of it that way and get my arse in gear! it will start to become much easier soon as the nights aren't quite so long.
