Where have I seen bar owner/concierge before? He looked familiar - my first thoughts were of Malcolm McDowell.
IMBD wasn't much help as he didn't have a character name (until end of film).

He is on the cast list as the valet

I remember him from the sci fi series Roswell as the sheriff (used to be one of my favourite shows), as well as loads of other shows, and knew he would have more of a relevant a part than the valet, though I didnt suspect until almost the end the extent of it.

Saw this in one of the smallest cinemas at Odeon Quay, Glasgow. Only seats about 60 people and was full.
I have to say I really enjoyed this film (and will resist saying, particularly as the last films have been turkeys!). The film moved along at a good pace and kept interest throughout (no naps tonight!). Good story(not exactly original) with good acting. Definitely worth watching . . . in fact, I wouldn't have worried if I'd pa*d to see it!
Score: 8/10
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

I must apologies for my colleague in the middle row, Beate, yeah, she never gets out, I think it is her first time at the cinema, she kept pinching my other friend quite hard too, making my friend squeal with pain! But she loved the film, as you may have guessed.
No shit, she did? LOL, at least they liked it, there was one guy who walked out after an hour or so, and he had lots of luggage on him. He got up just when your colleague squealed the loudest, which really startled me, and then he stood there in the middle of the gangway fiddling with his oversized backpack and coat and other bag and God knows what else he was carrying. He looked like he was fresh back from climbing a mountain somewhere! Some people do make you wonder.

Someone's going to pipe up now and say it was them or their husband or father or God uncle, right :shifty:

Better than I expected and much better than some of the other films we had recently. Intelligent and entertaining, too. I really enjoyed that. o/

Only that overcorrect Virgin lady was a nuisance :wall:

OH's friend almost didn't get in as she was checking IDs and the ticket I had for him didn't have his name on. Thank you again PXC for rescuing us! :bighug:

I must be getting old, but as nice as it may be to get free popcorn I wish people would finish it before the film starts or at least eat quietly once it starts. Otherwise you get a second soundtrack of not just one or two but dozens of people rustling and munching

I meant to mention the popcorn too, Kaybeelon. Yes, it's nice for the popcorn to be given but does it have to be in such "rustly" bags? The start of the film was almost lost in the noise of the popcorn bags . . . and I didn't even eat mine as I like the salted kind!

Yeah, it was the same at our screening, it was so noisy with the rustling at the start of the film. Why do people eat and chat during a film, if they want to do that, why don't they just go to a restaurant?

@kaybeelon, it was a pleasure! Your OH was so nice. The overzealous Virgin lady kept asking him was he ready for the screening, saying it won't be long now etc, while we waited patiently outside for that 4 minutes before being let in!

That bloody Virgin woman needs to be locked up in a dungeon and forgotten about.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.
