Actor and writer Bill Cronshaw explains the impact the former German prisoner of war Bert Trautmann had following his arrival as Manchester City goalkeeper shortly after World War Two.This is an amusing story of hero worship, a broken neck, dreams, nightmares, forgiveness and redemption.
A must for any football fan with a passion for the history of the game or for anyone with an interest in Mancunian life during the post war period.

We have a few complimentary tickets available to an event TONIGHT at the Assembly Rooms Islington and a fabulous new show at the Peacock Theatre in Holborn: The Houdini Experience.

TONIGHT: CMA: Bill Anderson, Clint Black and Bob Dipiero This concert is part of the CMA's (Country Music Association) Songwriter Series.

The Country Music Association’s very popular CMA Songwriters Series is coming to London for the first time with a special performance on Wednesday 22nd February 2012. The CMA Songwriters Series showcases the best of Nashville's mega-hit songwriters and songwriter artists. The series features successful songwriters and artists from Nashville, who line up on stage and, with guitar in-hand, take turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them in the raw as originally written.

These tickets are for Downstairs Standing spaces

The Houdini Experience

Fresh from his TV performances on the BBC’s Magicians Final and The One Show, be prepared to be amazed and astounded by TV’s most dangerous illusionist, Hans Klok, when he brings his astonishing new show The Houdini Experience, to London’s Peacock Theatre, for five weeks only.

Described as ‘chilling, thrilling and breathtakingly amazing’, Hans Klok, his Divas of Magic, dancers and a troupe of world-class variety acts will dazzle London this spring. Commenting on his epic new production, Klok, who is regarded as the world’s fastest magician, said: “Let me take you on a journey into another world; a fantasy world, a world full of mystery, where the impossible becomes possible and where you experience one surprise after another.”

Combining sensational illusions, daredevil stunts and extraordinary tricks, The Houdini Experience, pays homage to one of the world’s greatest magicians and escapologists and comes to the capital some 100 years after Houdini himself made his London debut.

Tickets are available on 23, 24, 28 and 29 February and we can offer you 4 tickets per person as it’s a great night out for the whole family!
