Not sure what to make for dinner. Have hardly any veggies in the house, no salad, have not been to sainsburys and don't want to eat out / take away. Oh, and we had pasta last night. Sigh.

Do you have any kind of meat that can be chopped up? Whatever you have in the fridge + meat + onion/garlic/herbs and eat it with rice.

It might help if you list what you DO have ;)

Deffo! You might regret the effort though as I've not made it in ages (and may well be on the phone to mother every 5 minutes) so heaven knows what we'll end up with!

Tesco used to have a tool that did that - ie type in what you have and it'll find you a recipe. I found was a bit hit and miss. Say I type in mushrooms and potatoes. It'll suggest Chicken and mushroom pie. Umm.....!

Maybe you should practise some more then and I'll come test it next time you're making it ;)

I'm making cauliflower with a cheese sauce, boiled potatoes and a chicken garlic kiev. Very simple but I love my veggies/potatoes/meat *is very Dutch*
