Lemon and sugar? You guys are odd! Dutch pancakes usually have any of these toppings (or a combination of them):

- Sirup
- Apple baked into the pancake
- Bacon
- Icing sugar
- Strawberry jam

Now I am really cravin a pile of Dutch pancakes!

As discussed in the Diary Room yesterday, we had our pancakes with ice cream & banana slices in the middle, and topped with fresh raspberries, strawberry slices and blueberries with a dusting of icing sugar and a drizzle of toffee sauce.......they were scrumptious!!

I made loads where were you guys?!

I like the apple idea C_T, might try that, we enjoyed them so much we are going to have a second pancake day next week! ;)
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Sirup is nice or icing sugar. I like crepes with lemon and sugar and pancakes with bacon.

The apple one looks intriguing.

I haven't had any pancakes today :( but will definitely make up for that tomorrow.
I normally have them with lemon and sugar as well.

I once made a whole meal with cheese and spinach crepes for the main course and then sweet apple ones for dessert. Now I go to the cinema instead and don't make any.

Will try to do something on the weekend. But it has to be with maple syrup--and I mean real maple syrup. That's the American way!

savory = GALETTES.

Also, the crêpe with hot melted chocolate, banana, almonds, Chantilly cream = foodgasm

Well actually as it was Delia Smith recipe I think she called the savoury ones "pancakes" and nothing so fancy as galettes! Thanks for educating me!
