I think it's a frigging cheek when people come to a screening but instead of forming a queue sit in the waiting area, then when a queue is formed, they try and jump to the front of the queue.

Respect to teddybear1! I want to do that too, but I'm always at the end, plus if I am with my family, they tell me off if I don't move for any latecomers.... I get such a lecture from them about how I should be kind blah, blah, etc, it's not worth me standing my ground. The lectures continues for days at home... :Embarrassed:

A few weeks ago at the Vue N1 two girls (A and B) refused to move for two blokes that came in and told the guys to sit one either side of them. The guys walked off, then two other girls (X and Y) came in, sat either side of A and B and talked over their heads. A and B got so fed up of it that they offered to move so X and Y could sit together :).

at Islington, I have the perfect solution, no seating in the waiting area and then jumping the queue, nor asking someone already seating to move for me... I just ask for my seat to be taken care of and arrive at the last minute

Yep. We started one last night at Shitsbury Ave. I never do "wait over there in the bar". I was pretty annoyed when one girl queue-jumped by asking for the loo and then the usher decided to let us all through - after her. But she did turn to the loo first so I forgave her.
