Will try to do something on the weekend. But it has to be with maple syrup--and I mean real maple syrup. That's the American way!
savory = GALETTES.

Also, the crêpe with hot melted chocolate, banana, almonds, Chantilly cream = foodgasm

Well actually as it was Delia Smith recipe I think she called the savoury ones "pancakes" and nothing so fancy as galettes! Thanks for educating me!
I'm used to French people saying 'crepes' instead of galettes all the time and it's killing me! I'm from Brittany, we're the kings of crepes and galettes!

But I'm sure we don't use this word in England anyway :p

Not just about food, but thought some might find this interesting:

With the change of seasons, your skin doesn’t know which way to go. Take some serious direction from facialist Sarah Chapman.

Up with Omegas
You’ll have the salmon — and the flaxseeds, walnuts and other eats high in omega oils, which help skin hold onto more moisture and beat winter stress from the inside out.

Down with Sugar
That cupcake makes you look old. Sugar wreaks havoc on collagen. Reach for a vitamin-packed veg juice instead. Try beetroot, celery, carrot and ginger.

In with MisoSlurp enzyme-rich miso soup and add more seaweed to meals to boost minerals that revitalize your body, hair and skin. You’ll domo arigato us later.

Out with Hibernation
Skip the stodgy, wintry comfort meals and opt for lighter, fresher foods. Get some exercise, make sure you drink plenty of water and you’ll feel like its spring soon enough.

Massage All Around
Wake up your face with moves that depuff, declog and increase circulation. Create loose fists with your palms facing your chin; using your knuckles, work from the centre outward, focusing on your chin, jaw and lower face. Tap all over the face with your fingertips, particularly under the eyes.

Going to supermarket (yay) then making dinner. What to make. It's so hard having to decide what to make every night. Sigh. A lifetime of this?! Yikes.

I have the same problem right now. I can't (well, don't want) to go out and b*y food as my throat does not feel great for the moment. I still have pasta, tomato sauce, potatoes, letuce and a big tomato. I keep some stuff to do a salad for work tomorrow.
I already ate potatoes/tomato sauce/parmesan for lunch and I'm now hesitating between eating the same... or ordering some chinese food. I badly want roast duck :shifty:
Help me make a choice.

edit: I think I need meat or something, I haven't eaten any for ages.

No Chinese food for you, missy. Take away will be greasy which won't help your throat. Any other options?

Haha I read 'unless it's fried with Octo', as in 'ok let's it some fried Octopus'!!
No, I'll try to stop thinking about the duck, and I'll cook some Basmati rice with tomato sauce. Sounds healthier :)
