Not Receiving Email Alerts

I've tried everything from this topic. I read all topics (or mark as read) every time I log in, which is every few days. I received them after I just signed up to the forum here, but no longer.

Have unsubscribed and re-subscribed. They are not in my junk mail.

Not sure what else to do...

Some posts get moved from the Free Films board to another rather than deleted. The email notification system still requires users to read such posts, which is a pain but there's nothing I can do about it.

This is potentially the cause of your problem. Try marking the entire forum read by going to the board index and clicking "mark forums read" at the top left.

I got the free film one this morning but nothing about the concert (I am subscribed to the free theatre thread). Cuold this be because they were both posted in a short space of time?
Unfortunately, free theatre does not appear on the main page, so I am unlikely to just notice it if there is a new post when I am on the site anyway, as sometimes happens with the films.

All your subscriptions are connected - the system works as usual - when you receive an email alert you won't receive any more until you have read any new posts in all your subscribed forums/threads

Check your subscriptions on the UCP to keep up to date with them:

I have done as you say, so we shall see - but it is strange. I just got the one for the film at 9.52 . I then read that post - but no other alert came today except for the one for the next film.
As the theatre etc thing is under general discussion, will I still get an alert even if I am already on another part of that discussion board at the time? - I think that was where I was today when the film alert came through.
I'm anxious not to miss alerts for these other eventsas some of them have been really good and would have cost a lot more than a couple of cinema tickets (especially the Tower Festival and the things at the Indigo2)

As with all subscriptions, you'll get an alert whether or not you're on the board at the time

I'll look into putting the link in my previous post in the subscription email. It should be pretty handy for people in your position.

Once again, I did not get an alert from the free concert/theatre thread, but I am getting all the free film ones ok. I am totally mystified by this

It was posted somewhere else first and then I had to merge it into the right thread but that shouldn't make a difference really...
